Organon §261
The best regimen for chronic disease includes innocent diversions, exercise in the fresh air and a good diet, in addition to removing obstacles to cure.
While patients with chronic diseases are using medication, the most expedient regimen is based upon the removal of any of these obstacles to cure plus the addition of their necessary opposites here and there [i.e. , where appropriate]:
1. innocent mental and emotional diversion;
2. active movement in the fresh air in almost all kinds of weather (daily walks, light manual labor);
3. appropriate, nutritious, non-medicinal foods and drinks, etc.
