Organon §92

If, however, the disease is one that runs its course rapidly and whose urgent state admits of no delay, and if the physician cannot ascertain what symptoms were present prior to medication, then the disease state altered by the medicines must suffice for him. He will at least be able to put together the present gestalt of the malady (that is, the original disease united with the medicinal disease) into a total image. Due to the use of inexpedient means, the medicinal disease united with the original disease is usually more extensive and dangerous than the original disease, and thus often urgently requires an expedient aid. The physician will then be able to conquer this disease with a fitting homeopathic remedy so that the patient will not die of the damaging medicine he has taken.
