Even a few symptoms shared by a medicine and a disease can lead directly to a cure if the symptoms are characteristic.

A small number of homeopathic symptoms, met with in the best selected medicine, does no damage to the cure in those cases where these few medicinal symptoms are of an uncommon kind (characteristic) that especially distinguish the disease. The cure then ensues without particular ailments.
